How to Increase Your Blogging Productivity by 500%

How to Increase Your Blogging Productivity by 500%?

Blogging is simple, really simple If It’s done correctly!

It may seem complex when you first begin, but trust me, it is simple.

However, this doesn’t mean that it’s easy.

If you can increase your productivity as a blogger, then you will make everything seem simple to you while you blog.

This also helps you to shortcut your way to success. But the key is to increase your blogging productivity.

There are many other posts out there that share some productivity tips, but most of them are basic tips and don’t increase productivity.

So, I came today with the tips which are working for me.

These tips actually help me as a student to study and bring good marks + having a successful blogging career, and this is what everyone hopes to have.

Before we go on, let’s start with a few benefits of increasing your blogging productivity. It helps in:

  1. Making your life easier as a blogger
  2. Reaching your goals
  3. Being a more productive blogger
  4. Converting first-time visitors into returning readers
  5. Getting your blog on the right track
  6. And more…

Let’s make a deal before we start:

Promise me you’ll pay attention to this post, read it more than once, apply the tips, and then tell us about your story with these tips in the comments.

I promise you to make these tips as simple as possible, and easy to use. The most important thing is that I promise to share tips that work.

Note: many of the tips are general productivity tips, so check the post even if you aren’t a blogger. Let’s begin!

How to Increase Your Blogging Productivity by 500%

1. Always ask questions to increase your productivity.

What are the questions that increase productivity?

Who would I ask these questions?

You will ask yourself.

Yes, you will ask yourself.

But what will I ask, and how this will increase my productivity?

Ask yourself the following questions:

  1. Why are you doing this?
  2. What distracts you from doing this and from being successful?
  3. What helps you to reach your success?
  4. Will this help me succeed?
  5. Is there something more important than this to do?
  6. And so on.

Always ask…

Now, when you come to do anything on the Internet, ask yourself the above questions.

If it helps you to be successful, then go with it.

If not, then leave it now and look for other things that may work.

Exercise: Always ask yourself these questions. Track what helps and what doesn’t help. Write them down on a piece of paper and put this paper beside your laptop.

You must know that 5% of the work brings 95% of the results. Focus on what works, and you will succeed in your blogging career.

Always remember this 95-5 rule.

2. Love what you do.

Yes, love your blog, love your topic.

Be happy when you’re blogging.

And yeah, make your readers love your blog too. Here’s the post on 10 ways to make your readers love your blog that I REALLY love here on Ehsan’s blog.

This can be the most important tip to increase your productivity as a blogger.

When you love what you do, you will do your best in it.

That’s the secret why most people say: that you need to be passionate about your topic.

If you don’t like your topic, it would be better to have a different topic.

This is another secret to increasing your productivity as a blogger.

3. Set your goal.

We came now to the most important tip.

When you start blogging, always set goals that you want to achieve through your blogging career.

Set monthly and yearly goals, and then set the main goal that you want to achieve in your career.

Always remember your goals, and make them the thing that really motivates you.

Also make sure that you set short and easy to achieve goals that can be achieved in a short time and ones you achieve them, start to increase them and double the numbers for your next step.

4. Plan your life in a way that helps you to achieve your goal.

After you set your goals, plan your life in a way that helps you to achieve them.

With the help of the questions you asked above and the goals you set, put together a clear plan.

Building a plan makes it easier for you to reach your goal. As mentioned in my guide to planning a blog, Planning is a road map that helps and shows the right path to follow.

5. Set a timer.

This is key: when you are planning, set a timer for everything you do.

This way, you will do your best to finish what you are doing in the fastest time possible.

Make this a habit from now and forever.

You won’t believe how well you’ll work to the deadline when you set a timer because you know that you’ve only got a few hours, or minutes to complete the task. It’s REALLY surprising how much you can get done in less time by setting a timer, or alarm.

Also have a set of times for how long you’ll spend writing content on your blog, how long you’ll spend on Facebook, Twitter, answering emails, and responding to emails. Set a timer and stick with it.

Also make plans before everything you do as a blogger. Make blog posts plan, and make blog plan before even launching.

6. Try to break what you need to do into simple small things, and group similar tasks.

Break big things into smaller things to increase your productivity as a blogger.

After you break things down, try to do similar tasks at the same time.

You can check this example about writing your posts to understand what I mean:

When you think about writing a post, try to break down what you do in simple steps.

First, think about the idea of the post.  It would be better to think about more than one idea at the same time.

After you have ideas for your next posts, start to outline your posts.

When you come to write, don’t think about anything else; just write and write.

If you finish a post, write the next one, and so on.

After you finish writing some posts, you can take some break and leave them for a day.

After that, edit the posts. And WOW, you are done!

When you do this, you are trying to apply the focus rule that Leo Babauta is always talking about.

It seems complex but try it.

You will finish 5 posts in the time that you finish 2 posts only!!

Yes, Leo, thanks for this amazing tip!

7. Have a team that will help you.

When you have a team, you can shortcut your way to success.

You and your team can finish lots of things that may take you a long time.

Everyone knows what he does best.

This is also a tip to focus on.

You focus on what you do, and they focus on what they do, so you and your team finish things faster.

BUT–and this is important–make sure that you partner with the right people.

Last words:

There are lots of tips to increase your productivity, but these 7 tips are the key ones.

The most important thing to remember is to FOCUS on what you do.

Also, don’t forget to take action!

Nothing will happen if you only read the post and don’t do anything after that.

Remember your promise?

Now read the post ones more, and then start taking action by applying the tips and strategies.
